The Lawrence-Douglas County chapter of the NAACP strives to provide opportunities to promote the growth of equal opportunities in education. High School students interested in pursuing a post secondary education are welcome to apply for financial assistance.

High School students are encouraged to apply to receive a one-time award of $250.00 to be used towards the funding of their college education.

Awards will be sent to the educational institution and not to the scholarship recipient.
